Taree High School has a proud tradition of community involvement and parent volunteering to assist the fundraising, organisation and activities available to Taree High School students.
The P&C Association is a voluntary organisation that has been working continuously since [insert year], to advance the best interests of the School by bringing parents, citizens and teaching staff into close co-operation. Membership is open to all parents and caregivers of students attending THS, and to all citizens resident within the school district.
The P & C meets once a month during school terms, usually the third Tuesday of each month. Dates and times are advised on the school website.
The objectives of the P & C are:
• Keep parents informed about activities within the School
• Assist in fundraising to provide facilities and equipment for the School
• Take an active interest in the general welfare of the students
• Act informally as a forum through which parents' views can be presented and passed on to the School administration.
Parents can find out more the P & C via the minutes of meetings. To receive the minutes send an email to the P&C President, and join our mailing list
